Well, it was a challenging summer… Exceptional Bears effortlessly

moved headquarters during August!  ?

During a hot and humid month, furniture along with additional trappings and paraphernalia, including an awful lot of (it has to be said) ‘not very helpful bears’ were moved to an equally humble dwelling across the country!

After ‘the move’ being planned with the meticulousness of a military exercise for several weeks, the day dawned and a small team of family members swung into action.

Vehicles were loaded and traversed the route there and back several times. Many trips of loading and unloading were made, until finally everything was packed into the ‘new’ abode.

Five very exhausted people collapsed and swore that they would never move themselves or anyone they knew EVER AGAIN!

But Cliffe and I will always be grateful for their support and encouragement during that exceptionally stressful weekend.

This was three weeks ago, and we STILL can’t work out where we packed stuff, so that ‘we would be sure to find it easily’?

I rely on my lists, I always have lists… in fact I often have a list of the lists I have (just in case)!

Can I find them?

Nope, someone must have packed them somewhere?

You need a sense of humour for this moving lark!

But now, we are living in a beautiful part of the country, with stunning views of countryside and sea.

Close to a city if we want a day out shopping or an evening at the theatre, we are beginning to thaw out and happily settle in to our new home.

The bears are not complaining as they have more room to stretch their legs whilst they wait for their next Big Adventure, when they will be adopted by new families and move to other homes.

So,  join us and our bears in the fun and excitement between now and Christmas,

there are sure to be adventures a-plenty to be had…
