Whoop… We Are Going On A Bear Hunt!
It is heading rapidly towards school ‘summer break’ time and…
Bear and I thought it might be fun to write some posts looking back at some of the Beary interesting places we have visited in our ‘neck of the woods’, as a helpful guide for anyone heading to the UK this summer!
So, Bear went off to look through his photos and has decided we will write our first post about one of his most favourite places to visit… the Bear Museum in Dorset, England, further along the south coast from Exceptional Bears HQ.
We met so many interesting old and new bears there on our last visit, that we have decided to take a couple of days off and pop along again to say ‘Hello’!
Bear had his bag packed within ten minutes of this decision ?
On our last visit to the Bear Museum…
Bear was thrilled to have his photo taken with Grandma Bear as soon as we arrived and he read all about Edward Bear and his relatives at the museum.
Then he went exploring amongst the toys, books and to his joy met Rupert Bear!
He found many of his relatives from the Merrythought family, some the same age as him and others much older or younger.
It was really interesting to see the different sizes and shapes of the Merrythought bears across the time since they were first introduced to the Teddy Bear market.
By now, poor little Bear was getting really tired.
But luckily we went around the corner and found several bears having a snooze in a very comfy looking bed!
So, Bear snuggled down for 40 winks with his new friends and I kept guard to make sure no little girl called Goldilocks crept in!
When Bear bounced up wide awake, one of his new friends introduced him to a very exclusive fragrance… Original Teddy, ‘Steiff Boutique’.
So off he went exploring again, feeling very fine and dandy!
By now we were both feeling rather peckish and following a very tasty aroma we duly arrived at the kitchen, where two wonderful lady bears were busy preparing lunch.
Bear was entranced and very happy to accept their invitation to help them put together a very tasty meal.
Although, I am still not convinced ‘help’ was the accurate word to use?
Bear is now totally convinced that he would be an asset to any kitchen!

But, we are both so excited to visit again ?

Have a great week and let me and Bear know if you and your bears have any thoughts on this post or have had any unusual adventures!
