Unfortunately, due to family illness, Bear and I have had to take an enforced break from Exceptional Bears for about three weeks.

But we are back now and rushing towards Christmas at full pelt!

We have so little time to get everything ready and I have been warned that it is not an option to cancel the Bears’ Christmas Party!

So, we started with a ‘Christmas Staff Meeting’…

This turned out to be an excuse for Bear and his best friends to open every outstanding window of their (homemade and as yet unopened) Advent Calendar and devour anything edible they found inside ?

Although, we eventually did get down to business and decided when and how the Christmas Party will be held. Jobs were allotted and everyone went off happily to fulfill their ‘In-Charge-Of… Whatever’ roles!

Bear put himself in-charge of the Christmas Tree and spent an inordinate amount of time playing… ooops!

Sorting out, which baubles to use ?

Eventually we got a half decorated tree!

At last, we have lights, shiny baubles, a couple of jingle bells and apparently the next job is for Bear to go and ‘rummage for tinsel – ‘etc’.

Although, I am not sure what the ‘etc’ is yet?!

We do however have a promise that we will have a fully decorated tree in time for the CHRISTMAS PARTY!

Which reminds me, my next job is Food… as Bear in his wisdom put me in charge of the catering ?

Taking a sneaky peek at the list I was given, I think that I may need to ‘adjust’ a few items. So far it reads…

• Honey
• Chocolate
• Honey
• Ice cream
• Sweets
• More ice cream
• Bit more honey… please ?

So, am off to the shops to invest in a few more ‘balanced’ party ingredients… catch you after the party with hopefully fun photographs!
